 NVIDIA has announced that , they will release the GeForce 8800M GTX during the third week of November . From Inquirer reports ,GeForce 8800M GTX is a DirectX 10 high performance video card for gaming notebooks.

The first 8800M GTX GPUs will feature 512MB of video memory, with 256MB models to follow.Due to laptop-specific thermal and power consumption requirements , the card will operate at lower clock speeds than the corresponding desktop model - the 8800 GT. The card will have a MXM Type III form factor reportedly,
The NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX is intended to replace the current GeForce Go 7950 GTX video card. But it is unknown that, how many shader units it will have, as well as on exact clock speeds
 

SMASUNG'S 1.8 '' SSDs to STORE 512GB of DATA

 Samsung Electronics has announced 30 - nanometer 64 Gigabit (Gb) Flash memory chip . It is first time developed by a company . This will enable the company to produce a 1.8 -inch solid state drive with 512GB of data storage capacity, TG Daily reports. Also, 16 of these 30 nm 64 Gb NAND Flash chips (one chip represents 8 GB of storage) can be packed into a memory card form factor, such as SD or CF-II, providing 128GB of capacity. Samsung plans to put the chips into mass production by 2009. Currently, the highest-capacity Samsung 1.8-inch SSD has 64GB of storage space . The 1.8'' form factor is commonly used in consumer electronics products, as well as in some sub-notebooks and ultra-mobile PCs.
